Truncation of disposable income into 2 categories (negative/zero/low vs medium/high)

Alcohol item:

Indication of previous harmful use of alcohol (before or during incarceration), not limited to dependence syndrome, either through personal knowledge of individual, or evidence such as through documented diagnosis, past contact with alcohol rehabilitation services or previous alcohol detoxification prescription.

Drug item:

Indication of previous harmful use of drug (before or during incarceration), not limited to dependence syndrome, either through personal knowledge of individual, or evidence such as through documented diagnosis, past contact with drug rehabilitation services.

Previous violence item:

Violent offence previous to most recent offence. This can include information that indicates perpetration of violence that was in keeping with a violent offence, but which did not result in charge or conviction for whatever reason.
